Eligibility & what we check for Telemedicine

During your video visit we confirm symptoms, onset, red‑flag warnings, allergies, prior responses to treatment, and any conditions that would change the plan (for example kidney or liver concerns, pregnancy planning, or interactions with current medicines and supplements). We also align on goals—pain relief, fewer flare‑ups, improved function, or prevention—and clarify what success will look like for you.

How telemedicine prescribing works

If the clinician determines a medicine is appropriate, an e‑prescription is transmitted to our pharmacy partner or your preferred local pharmacy. You’ll receive dosing guidance, timing tips (with or without food, morning vs. evening), and a plain‑English summary of warnings. For some therapies, we discuss a trial period with follow‑up to adjust dose or switch approaches.

Safety, interactions, and monitoring

We screen for duplicate therapies and avoid combinations that raise risk. You’ll learn what mild effects are expected and which signs require urgent care. When lab tests meaningfully inform safety (for example thyroid levels, liver enzymes, or lipid panels), we’ll outline where to complete them and how results change decisions.

Alternatives & supportive care

Medication is one tool—not the whole plan. We pair treatment with practical steps such as sleep and stress routines, hydration, nutrition, activity pacing, and condition‑specific exercises. If the first option isn’t the right fit, we map alternatives and agree on a clear next check‑in.

Insurance, costs, and delivery

You can request your e‑prescription be routed to a local pharmacy that accepts your insurance, or use our delivery partner with transparent pricing and tracked shipping. Receipts are provided for HSA/FSA reimbursement where applicable.

Who may not be a candidate

Certain red flags—severe or rapidly worsening symptoms, signs of an emergency, or controlled substance needs—may require in‑person evaluation. If that’s the safest pathway, we’ll explain why and help you transition without delay.

Stay connected

Secure messaging lets you share updates between visits, and quick follow‑ups can be scheduled to review response, side effects, and next steps. Clear instructions and written summaries help you remember the plan.
