Overview

Kamagra contains Sildenafil citrate, the same active ingredient as Viagra. It is used to treat erectile dysfunction by inhibiting phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5), enhancing nitric oxide–mediated vasodilation and improving penile blood flow.

Uses

Indicated for erectile dysfunction in adult men. It does not cure underlying causes but improves erectile response during sexual stimulation.

Dosage & Administration

Common dose: 50 mg, taken 30–60 minutes before sexual activity, not more than once daily. The dose may vary between 25–100 mg depending on efficacy and tolerability.

Side Effects & Warnings

Headache, flushing, nasal congestion, and dizziness are typical. Rarely, vision or hearing changes and prolonged erections (priapism) occur. Avoid concurrent nitrates or recreational “poppers,” as severe hypotension may result.

Patient Considerations

Avoid heavy meals and alcohol before use. Kamagra is not recommended without a physician’s assessment due to potential cardiac contraindications.
